How we work
OKT GLOBAL brings together R&D, quality, regulatory, production and marketing to turn a product need into a traceable cosmetics process. Manufacturing follows good practices and a quality system aligned with UNE-EN ISO 22716; OKT GLOBAL's certification is issued by Bureau Veritas. For natural or organic projects, we can align development with COSMOS when required.
Case 1 · Moving manufacturing from outside Europe to Spain
Challenge: a brand needed to reduce dependence on a non-EU supplier and prepare its product for European markets with local documentation and control.
Approach: review of the formula and available file, raw-material assessment, process adaptation, prototypes, pack compatibility and transfer to manufacturing in Spain.
Outcome: a relocation route with defined technical milestones, identified documentation gaps and a scale-up plan that supports decisions before production.
Case 2 · Reverse engineering and improvement of a facial cosmetic
Challenge: a company had a reference sample and needed a stable, manufacturable alternative consistent with its positioning.
Approach: sensory characterisation, formulation hypotheses, active and excipient selection, laboratory iterations, stability work and scale-up preparation.
Outcome: a documented proprietary formula with control criteria and a clear path from sample to pilot batch.
Case 3 · Sun protection for a professional channel
Challenge: develop a sunscreen with refined sensoriality and the efficacy, labelling and European manufacturing requirements of the target market.
Approach: assessment of mineral, organic or hybrid filters, texture optimisation, pack compatibility and coordination of testing and claims.
Outcome: a technical brief ready for validation, with formulation decisions, required tests and the next production steps.
